VISA Gift cards are available at all Bluebonnet branch offices. The cards are available in any amount from $10 - $1,000. A fee of $4.95 applies. VISA Gift cards are perfect for birthdays, graduations, as Christmas gifts or for that college student who is away at school.
Travelers Cheque Sales Discontinued
Due to declining sales, the sale of American Express Travelers Cheques has been discontinued at all Bluebonnet branches.
Extended Friday Hours at Heights and Baytown Branches
Both the Baytown and Heights branch offices are now open until 6:00 P.M. on Friday evenings. Additionally, both branches are open Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon.
Robert E. Mitchell College Scholarship Applications
Applications for the 2010 Robert E. Mitchell College Scholarship program are currently being accepted. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in June. Applications were included in the most recent issue of the "In Your Interest" newsletter. The newsletter is also available online by clicking on the "Newsletter" button.
Overdraft Enrollment - What You Need To Know about Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:
- We have standard overdraft practices that come with your account.
- We also offer overdraft protection plans, such as a link to a savings account, which may be less expensive than our standard overdraft practices. To learn more, ask us about these plans.
